...and the Chihuly lobby and conservatory. 
Wrapped up the day at The Wynn, where I caught John O' Hurley in the Vegas version of Spamalot.
Hurley drew on his Dancing with the Stars experience to be a worthy King Arthur compared to the original Tim Curry. The rest of the cast fared less well tho, particularly Nikki Someoneorother as The Lady of The Lake, a far cry from Sara Ramirez, who you prolly know better as Dirty Hot Callie on Grey's. Also, to condense the show to an hour and a half with no intermission, a couple songs got chopped, but nothing essential. Anyway, good stuff overall.So that's it for Vegas, next time I check in, it'll be from...

I sort of do and don't. What I've realized is I like some of the restaurants (good celeb chefs at the MGM Grand) and the casinos where the only theme is "lotsa money" like The Bellagio and Wynn as opposed to places like Excalibur, with Sir Galahad's Steak Saloon and crap like that.
And hell yeah baseball – saw a grand slam and almost a triple play yesterday.

What kind of fantasy job do you have anyway? Toy Fairs? Vegas? Spring Training?
You lucky bastard. I've dreamt of going to spring training since like 1981. Although, watching tha games on TV are exceptionally boring.
Valerie: It's the fast-paced world of promotional marketing, now often referred to as "activation." Whee! But seriously, it can be fairly cool – Toy Fair is a perk because I work on kid business (Lunchables). This Vegas/Spring Training trip is just vacation... that I'm kind of catching hell for being out so long from the aforementioned fantasy job ;)
Grant: Do it. It's minor-league charm with major-league players. Fun for the kids. They don't amount to much on TV, I agree. Actually, the last few innings of most games don't mean a whole lot, as it's evaluating your farm team against someone else's. Still cool, tho.
Last year we stayed at the same hotel as the players – me and Pablo Ozuna hanging out by the pool.

Lunchables? Was it your idea to put the Pirates of the Caribbean "toy"/tattoo in the Lunchables last year?
Because Garrett had those and now he's always looking for them at the store, but they don't make those anymore.

Valerie: Sorta. We proposed an entirely different toy, but they couldn't pull it off - I think for cost reasons, if I remember right. So that was the backup. Did Garrett get the full set? If not, I'm sure I've still got some hanging around.
But overall, yeah – Lunchables has been my baby for the last 4ish years; we pretty much decide everything that goes on or in the packages (we don't do the TV, tho).
Thanks for the offer, but I think Garrett can do without anymore tattoos. :)

My wife and I got married in Las Vegas. The Little White Chapel on the Strip. (Spears, Sinatra, Jordan)
It was my first and only time there (so far). I learned in Vegas that I'm not a gambler, but the clubs and the video arcades were second to none.
